Untethered Domestic Chargers

Untethered chargers do not have a Type 2 cable permanently attached, creating a clean, streamlined appearance. To use an untethered charger, a Type 2–to–Type 2 charging cable is required. These cables are typically supplied with your vehicle by the dealership, but if needed we can also provide one for you.

Cannot recommend highly enough
My installation wasn’t straightforward, the cabling needed to run across to the opposite side of the house but the engineer did a brilliant job. All wiring was done externally and the cable leading to the junction box isn't easy visible unless someone is specifically inspecting it. The engineer kept the look of the house intact, lifted the slabs carefully, and placed them back securely without any damage. He also cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.
The switch they installed is really good quality, with a solid lockable casing. It’s ideal if you want to physically power off and secure the unit, even though the charger itself also has an app‑based lock for extra safety. The engineer took time to walk me through the app setup, how to connect the charger to the car, and what to look out for.
There were no hidden costs at all, everything was upfront, and payment was only taken once the job was completed and I was happy. The payment options were flexible too.
Overall, I would highly recommend Quickfit Car Chargers. Professional, tidy, great value, and excellent service throughout.
